Product Description

The 25' (8meter), Extreme Bungee is for serious blue water hunting. The smooth yet robust outter layer offers strong resistance to tears, nicks and abrasions and has an ultra high UV stabilization to ensure a long product life. Cored with 750lbs parachute dyneema and metal fittings and finished with H.D. 6inch swivel shark clips.

Not to be mistaken with imitation bungies constructed of simple hand-spear rubber or similar simple surgical rubbers.

Technical tips:

Main purpose: Large and powerful pelagic fish have the speed and power to tear free during the fight or simply just bust equipment on their initial explosive run. A blue-water-hunting bungee is introduced as a shock-absorber to the effects of large pelagic fish. It also provides constant pressure to avoid spear dislodgement all the while tiring out your prey.

2.2:1 stretch Vs. 3:1 stretch: When hunting Dogtooth tuna or similar pelagics that fight near reef and structure, a 2:1 stretch ratio compared 3:1 stretch, offers the diver more control and an increased chance of keeping the fish out of reef.
