Product Description

Rob Allen Vecta Belt Reel

  • Constructed from 30% glass filled nylon and stainless steel, ensures superior strength and zero rusting.
  • The stainless steel backing plate and bungie loop allows for quick fitting and removal of the belt reel. You no longer have to take weights off your belt each time - simply slide them apart and clip the backing plate directly to your belt.
  • The backing plate has an integrated handle, enabling you to remove the reel even while spinning to clip it onto a float. The width of the plate gives stability while rewinding the line.
  • The open style spool ensures rapid drying of your line after a dive and better control of line feed when rewinding. The spool, (the same one used on the gun reel), is able to hold 60m of 1.8mm dynema or 90m of 1.5mm dynema.
  • The stainless steel fairlead ensures that your line runs smoothly and will never wear into the guide. The quick release loop is easy to find by feel while fighting a fish.
  • The Rob Allen Vecta belt reel is setup for right handed divers, but can easily be converted for left handed use. It can be fitted to any make or style of belt, but is an ideal add on, to the Rob Allen Marsellaise weight belt.

Local Spear Conditions - Tuesday 24th Feb 2015

by laurence on 24 Feb 2015
Finally, after weeks and weeks of swell, bad vis and wind, there looks to finally be a reprieve. Swell is dropping all the way through till Saturday, coupled with South winds to push in the clear water for most of the remainder of the week, this looks weekend looks like it could be good for diving finally. The swell is forecast at 0.8 metres for Saturday with very very light winds. Sunday however is a tad bigger at 1.0 metre but with medium strength Southerly winds. Try jumping in at a protected spot if the wind bothers you, such as The Bower (back of Shelley Beach away from the Marine Park), Dee Why, Warriewood, South Whale Beach and South Palm Beach. We are hoping that this forecast will stay true and everyone finally gets in and re-stocks the freezers! Fingers crossed! Forecast courtesy of www.seabreeze.com.au
