Hi all,
Just reminding those of you that participate in the Yorke's Classic comp that AUF (Australian Underwater Federation) fees are now due, These fees are due at the begining of each financial year.
A few of you expressed dissapointment that when you joined up for the comp in April earlier this year, that you only had a few months of membership left until it expired, Joining up now means that you will have nearly a full year of membership, and you wont have to worry about it when the Yorke Peninsula Classic comes around again next year.
Renew your membership at www.auf.com.au cost for a senior membership is $55.
PM me if you have any problems with joining up or signing in exc, and i will be happy to help you with your issue.
Regards
Dave Scholefield
P.s. I am not in any way a beneficiary of any payment to the AUF, Nor am i employed by the AUF.
I simply believe it is important to support the national body that supports us and our fantastic sport. Check out the website for more details on what the AUF do and what benefits you get as a member. |

Yup pretty sure you could count me and Sam in too.... Keep us posted when you are wanting to do it.
Probably heading out for a bit of a local dive tomorrow - weather has been sweet but the viso off West Beach today was apparently pretty average (suprisingly) so will probably head further south and see if i can find some clear water..... Maybe even a fish or two! LOL |

wind and waves suck for this weekend which is unfortunate, as the weekend gone was really good... maybe as soon as good wind conditions are a better... how about freediving somewhere like glenelg blocks or barge? think there are a few wreaks around in ~10m water in other places, but id have to check again as i cant remember off the top of my head.
might be a challenge being out of season but diving at Wallaroo last time, i managed the end of the jetty easily enough... (14m?)

James apart from the blocks which isnt a wreck and usaly nothing that great on even in summer theres not much off glenelg. And the blocks is inside the 600m exclusion zone.
All the wrecks off adelaide the glenelg barge included are in 20m and 25m and usaly on a good day theres that many boats on them diving them becomes a pain and a saftey concern. |
